Hi, I'm Wendy.
Do you need help
updating an existing website ?
I've worked as a software engineer for over 30 years. In 2016 I started to scale back on my engineering work, and started to focus more on my passion for teaching. One of my projects involved teaching beginner web development to middle and high school students. This prompted me to create my first website A Taste of Tech.
A second project I started was to get my family cookbook online to make it easier to share my recipes with my extended family and friends, which was the beginning of A Taste of Yum. This extended into research on health topics and much more.
And finally, I recently decided to organize my travel photos (a monumental task!) so that I could create A Taste of Travel as a way to share our travel adventures with friends and family. I have a long way to go, but it's a start!
And I would love your feedback !
A Taste of Yum is all about healthy living. I've included family recipes, which is a continuous work in progress! I also discuss some of my ongoing research into various health conditions that have touched my family. Enjoy!
A Taste of Tech teaches beginner web development using online videos, along with examples, cheat sheets and a sample blog. You can build your own website at no cost, and no prior experience is needed!
A Taste of Travel is all about my family's amazing travel adventures. My intent is to share our photos, videos and experiences for each place we've visited...or should I say, those visited after the invention of digital cameras!
What in the world is a widget??? Traditionally, a widget refers to a small gadget or device. But in the computer world, widgets display interesting facts and invite you to interact. So please check out my growing world of widgets!!
